# 金庸梦 / Jin Yong's Dream > slug: `jym` · browser status: `playable` · native port: `40184` A wuxia MUD that deliberately blends the sect systems of several different Jin Yong novels into one shared world: newcomers arrive at a Hall of Heroes where Jin Yong himself appears as a friendly, talkative NPC who introduces all 12 joinable sects — the Beggars' Sect, Quanzhen Sect, and Peach Blossom Island from Condor Heroes; the Tianlong Babu-era Ming Cult, Xingxiu Sect, and White Camel Manor; the Sunflower Manual world's Mount Hua and Shaolin; and more, crossing Legend of the Condor Heroes, Demi-Gods and Semi-Devils, Swordsman, and Heaven Sword and Dragon Saber into a single continuity. Registration uniquely splits the account password from a separate 10+ character "recovery password." Its map directory structure heavily overlaps with this project's xkx2000zxb (Ode to Gallantry 2000, Latest Edition, MudOS v22b25 lineage) — scenes such as the ancestral hall at the Lake Tai ancient tomb are identical, differing only in the "cracked by" credit in the file headers ("Cracked by Kafei" there versus "Cracked by Roath" here) — indicating both are different circulating copies of the same underlying "Ode to Gallantry I" codebase, a relationship neither archive had previously recorded. xkm (Ode to Gallantry's Dream) and bmxkx2001 (Ode to Gallantry, North America 2001 Edition) are sibling archives from the same "Cracked by Roath" release line. ## Play in the browser (WebAssembly) - Landing page (description + notes): https://mudlibs.fluffos.info/jym/ - Play now (boots the WASM driver): https://mudlibs.fluffos.info/jym/play.html ## Download source ZIP - Same-origin ZIP (trimmed source tree, no need to clone the whole repo): https://mudlibs.fluffos.info/jym/jym.zip - GitHub tree: https://github.com/fluffos/mudlibs/tree/main/libs/jym - README: https://github.com/fluffos/mudlibs/blob/main/libs/jym/README.md - Restoration notes (NOTES.md): https://github.com/fluffos/mudlibs/blob/main/libs/jym/NOTES.md ## Run natively with FluffOS 1. Build a current FluffOS driver from https://github.com/fluffos/fluffos (native `build` / `build-debug`; see that repo's docs). 2. Download and unzip `jym.zip` from the URL above (or clone `https://github.com/fluffos/mudlibs` and use `libs/jym/`). 3. From the unzipped lib directory, ensure `config.fluffos` points `mudlib directory` at this tree (the checked-in file may contain a maintainer-local absolute path — edit it to your extract path). 4. Start the driver: ```bash /path/to/fluffos/build/src/driver config.fluffos ``` 5. Connect a UTF-8 MUD client to `127.0.0.1:40184`. - Admin / wizard login: `fluffos` / `Mud@2026` - If you host this on a public network, change the published default admin password before opening the port. ## Machine-readable catalog - Site-wide catalog: https://mudlibs.fluffos.info/games.json - Site-wide LLM overview: https://mudlibs.fluffos.info/llms.txt - This file: https://mudlibs.fluffos.info/jym/llms.txt
