# 海洋2002 / Ocean 2002 (Ocean II)

The in-game title is Ocean II, and it's a follow-on, evolved version of this project's hy2000 -- the two share 10,630 of 10,632 files by path, with hy2002 adding roughly 3,000 new files on top (new maps, new sect content) over the same marriage-system/sect-map base (d/marry/, d/happy/, Huashan/Wudang/Shaolin/Beggars'-Sect). It carries the same "Ocean/hy" security-daemon-backdoor admin scheme as hy2000, but here the hardcoded backdoor id ("hxsd") turned out to already belong to a real, unrecoverable old player account, forcing a side-by-side admin grant instead of a direct claim. A real anti-abuse rule caps new registrations to one per IP per 60 seconds -- by design, not a bug. New characters progress from registration through the newbie sequence, exploring and leaving Ping'an City, a fight, death, and Ghost-Gate revival.

## Run natively with FluffOS

1. Build a current FluffOS driver from https://github.com/fluffos/fluffos
   (native `build` / `build-debug`; see that repo's docs).
2. Download and unzip `hy2002.zip` from the URL above (or clone
   `https://github.com/fluffos/mudlibs` and use `libs/hy2002/`).
3. From the unzipped lib directory, ensure `config.fluffos` points
   `mudlib directory` at this tree (the checked-in file may contain a
   maintainer-local absolute path — edit it to your extract path).
4. Start the driver:

/path/to/fluffos/build/src/driver config.fluffos
```

5. Connect a UTF-8 MUD client to `127.0.0.1:40116`.

- Admin / wizard login: `fluffos` / `Mud@2026Pass1`
- If you host this on a public network, change the published default
  admin password before opening the port.
