# 东方故事Ⅱ之天朝帝国 (Eastern Story II: The Celestial Empire) / Eastern Story II: The Celestial Empire > slug: `dfgs2` · browser status: `playable` · native port: `40027` Part of the "Eastern Story" (东方故事) engine family shared with es1_win and esI in this collection, but a genuinely smaller, independent codebase (564 raw files versus es1_win's 8,000+) — credited in its own source headers to Annihilator and Phoebus.suny, "建立架构 Nov 6, 1995 / 测试游戏制度 Apr 22, 1996." Its four playable races (Human, Jiaojao, Woochan, Yenhold) lean toward Western fantasy rather than the wuxia sect/jianghu traditions common elsewhere in this collection. Registration is an unusually long chain — id, password, email, race, gender, then a real Chinese character name — before landing new players in 小客栈 ("Small Inn"), where the innkeeper greets them with "掌柜说道:欢迎!欢迎!请里面坐!" ("Welcome, welcome, please come in and sit!"), the deepest this engine family's registration flow reaches into an actual furnished room rather than stopping at a login prompt. ## Play in the browser (WebAssembly) - Landing page (description + notes): https://mudlibs.fluffos.info/dfgs2/ - Play now (boots the WASM driver): https://mudlibs.fluffos.info/dfgs2/play.html ## Download source ZIP - Same-origin ZIP (trimmed source tree, no need to clone the whole repo): https://mudlibs.fluffos.info/dfgs2/dfgs2.zip - GitHub tree: https://github.com/fluffos/mudlibs/tree/main/libs/dfgs2 - README: https://github.com/fluffos/mudlibs/blob/main/libs/dfgs2/README.md - Restoration notes (NOTES.md): https://github.com/fluffos/mudlibs/blob/main/libs/dfgs2/NOTES.md ## Run natively with FluffOS 1. Start the driver: ```bash /path/to/fluffos/build/src/driver config.fluffos ``` 5. Connect a UTF-8 MUD client to `127.0.0.1:40027`. - Admin / wizard login: `fluffos` / `Mud@2026` - If you host this on a public network, change the published default admin password before opening the port. ## Machine-readable catalog - Site-wide catalog: https://mudlibs.fluffos.info/games.json - Site-wide LLM overview: https://mudlibs.fluffos.info/llms.txt - This file: https://mudlibs.fluffos.info/dfgs2/llms.txt
